The South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA) welcomes film crews and journalists to our breathtaking sanctuaries—Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, and Jukani. We offer unique backdrops and unforgettable wildlife footage without the need for film permits. Stick to our visitor guidelines: no touching the animals and no interference with their natural behaviors and you are guarenteed to have a long lasting relationship with us.
At Monkeyland, mischievous monkeys add charm and spontaneity to your scenes. Birds of Eden provides a lush forest setting, enhanced by over 3,000 birds, creating a magical backdrop. At Jukani, capture stunning footage of apex predators in a secure environment, with access to specially built photography ramps.
We offer exceptional amenities for media crews, including early or late access, a dedicated break room at Monkeyland, large safe parking for equipment setups, and security personnel on-site.
